NEP

SLEPc is a parallel library for the solution of various types large-scale eigenvalue problems. Over past few years, we have been developing module within SLEPc, called NEP, that intended solving nonlinear These problems can be defined by means matrix-valued function depends nonlinearly on single scalar parameter. We do not consider particular case polynomial (which are implemented in different SLEPc) and focus here rational other general eigenproblems involving square roots or any function. The article discusses how NEP has designed to fit needs applications provides description available solvers, including some implementation details such as parallelization. Several test coming from real used evaluate performance reliability solvers.
